MCTC Students Unveil ZENITH, A Graphic & Web Design Portfolio Showcase.

ZENITH, purposefully cultivated design explorations conclude to reveal fresh, multifaceted creative professionals.

Minneapolis, MN [04/01/2018]- The School of Design and the Arts at Minneapolis Community and Technical College invite the public to view the 2018 graduating student portfolio show, ZENITH. A culmination of their design education, students will share vibrant and diverse portfolios individually tailored to their own career aspirations. Meet, greet, and celebrate in future creative professionals of the Twin Cities design community. Open to the public Tuesday May 1 from 10am to 8pm and Wednesday May 2 from 10am to 6pm, the show is located on the MCTC campus, 1501 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403.

Every spring at MCTC graduating graphic and web design students join together to engage the public through a portfolio showcase that demonstrates the breadth and depth of their most recently delevoped design skills and techniques. United by passion for design and bonded through a shared educational experience, each student will bring their own unique perspective to the portfolio show.

MCTC’s School of Design and the Arts Graphic Design print and web programs center on the place where words meet images, where clear and purposeful communication meets aesthetic impact and where a range of human needs and desires reside. Students gain technical and design skills using current industry-standard software and techniques, getting hands on training from experienced professional instructors. The pathway fosters critical and creative exploration in design. Students, inspired by talented, committed faculty who are experienced leaders in the arts, design and performance communities graduate from the program with the fundamental skills to start a career in the design industry.
