South Minneapolis Eats is restaurant blog company geared toward foodies specifically in South Minneapolis. South Minneapolis is filled with delicious hole-in-the-wall restaurants, South Minneapolis Eats dedicates their time to informing the Minneapolis community about these hidden treasures. Using the rule of thirds I designed an asymetrical wireframe with a stand out user interface that is responsive to all devices. Once the wireframing was done I found a unique color pallet and designed minnesota based logos to attract local consumers.
Hound Threads is a custom tailored clothing company, providing the highest quality materials for your best friend. Once I figured out who my target market was, I began making my mockups. I started with a mobile first design since my customer base is constantly on the go. I used a sleak black and white color pallet with a gold accent color to attract higher end clientele. Most importantly I designed a custom measuring guideline to make sure your pup has the perfect fit every time.
The Minneapolis Community and Technical College photography department needed a new website for their portfolio show. This was a team project but my design was chosen for the final product. Since the client’s main focus was their photography I designed a large carousel that displays each student’s work with a custom masonry table below to showcase each photographer. I based the design on single page scroll site that was clean and elegant and responsive for all devices.
The Alzheimer’s Organization is a non-profit fund for the fight against Alzheimer’s. I looked at their site and noticed it was quite dated so I created a complete website redesign. Based on my market research I designed the site to be more user friendly for all ages. Making large clear buttons and giving information hierarchy that stacked for all devices using bootstraps responsive layout.
